Milk Unleashed review

Every kid should drink at least 3 glasses of milk everyday. That’s what my children’s pediatrician said. My children loves milk especially when it’s flavored like chocolate milk. Well, who wouldn’t love it anyway? I’m sure adults loves milk as well. But it will make a difference if the milk we introduced to our family is organic. It may not be the cheapest milk but for sure we will all get the right nutrients and vitamins from these kinds of milk. As you can see in the picture below, my children were indulging the goodness of Milk Unleashed. They are so good that my husband and I had some too. As a matter of fact, my children won’t even stop opening our refrigerator for it.

I was so fortunate that I was able to get approved for Milk Unleashed product review. They sent me 5 different kinds of milk and all of them were delicious. We love it not only from its tastiness but it does not require to be refrigerated up to 7 to 10 days, which is really cool. I can take it anywhere on the go, without having to worry about spoiling it. Shelf safe milk is also another term for this milk. You should try it for your young ones. They can get good benefits from this milk, health wise. They have Twitter, you can follow them for more updates and exciting news.

Check this diagram out for further understanding of the difference between traditional milk and shelf milk.

Reusable Snack bag review

My daughter and I walked to school and I always bring some food with me like sandwich, fruits, crackers or any bread that we can eat while walking. I normally put our snacks inside a plastic bag along with a water jug. Yesterday, I am so happy when my husband told me that I have a package. I opened it and I saw it was from SnackTAXI Company; they gave me this cute snack reusable bag. Boy, am I glad to have this. I can now put our on-the-go snacks in it, goodbye plastic bags. I love to help saving our Mother Earth and if it means getting rid of the plastic bags and starts using products that are environmental friendly, so be it.

What’s good about this snack bag is that, its machine washable, free of lead, phthalates, and BPA. Parent like me would want something that is safe for our children and this snack bag is perfect and just what I need. Thanks SnackTAXI for being so creative and sharing us your innovative product.

>Hate earrings

>I replaced my daughter’s earrings several times already. She lost her earring because she pulls them off. I bought those earrings that are hard to unlock but for some reason she knows how to get them off her ears. I hate to do these but tonight I bought another pair of earrings and hopefully it’ll last. I bought inexpensive ones that way I won’t feel so bad when she lose it again. Right now, she’s screaming at me while pulling her earrings off (it’s getting red), but I guess she’s hurting every time she pulls it down, so, she’ll let go off her earrings. I want her to have earrings so her pierced ears will not close. Please baby girl don’t take your earrings off!

>Balboa Park Railroad

>

Since my son loves train so much, we took him to Balboa Park Railroad one day and ride on it. It was $3 per person (child and adult) and the route will take about 5 to 6 minutes and tunnel is the highlight of this ride. I thought they will at least give us a few round but I was wrong. It was from start to finish and that’s it. I guess $3 is a little bit expensive for just 1 ride. Anyhow, my kids had fun and that’s what matters most. I’m not sure if I will take our kids to that ride again.

There weren’t a lot of people when went there at that time.

>When kids says “I want this… I want that”

>As parents, we want to give everything to our children just to make them happy but there are times when we don’t have enough budgets for toys, saying NO to them would be an awful word to say. However, we need to teach them some lessons in life so they will grow up to become good individuals. Bratting our kids is really not a good idea. Anyway, we were at the store the other day and I overheard a kid asking for a PS3 Move motion controller to his mom because accordingly his birthday is coming up. Then, I overheard the little brother say I want this (don’t remember what toy he was saying) because my birthday is coming too. I guess the mother ignored the younger brother and he started whining in the store. He was crying and many people in the store were looking at the kid. The mother must have felt terrible at that time when all the eyes were looking at them. I told my husband that I hope our kids will not make a scene in the stores for it’ll be so embarrassing.

>Family activity

>Sometimes I feel guilty when our kids don’t get as mush attention as they want from us. My husband has a full-time job and he when he comes home it’s already midnight. I don’t have a secular job but I work part time home base. Thus, working part time at home and at the same time taking care of the house chores and kids is really exhausting. However, I try to give time for my children. We play pretend by letting their imagination work. I actually bought a Popsicle stick and we created a house, truck and shapes out of it and my son painted them. Its fun, though it’s not clean and mess free but the most important thing is that my kids were engaging to the activity that I have for them. Sometimes my son would ask me if he can paint but we ran out already. I always forget to buy the colorful paint. I’m also looking for some creative play that is re-usable, colorful and fun. I think Wikkistix.com has one of a kind creatable stuff. I’m sure my kids will love it. I will have to get it for them.

>Please don’t call!

>We brought our son to the hospital the other day and we requested for him to get an x-ray done so we can be sure that nothing is wrong with his lungs. We are so worried because of his dry cough and we are so frustrated that we can’t fix his problem. We’ve been going in and out of his pediatrician with the same issues and the diagnosis that they told us isn’t so clear. We are worried for our son because he can’t sleep well at night. Coughing and puking with fever became a routine for us in some of the nights. So anyway, the x-ray test came out negative which is good. The attending physician pre-diagnosed him with a whooping cough. He was given an anti-biotic even though we didn’t get the test results (to know whether he is positive with whooping cough or pertusis) yet. He will take it for 5 days and I’m praying that he’ll get better soon. We were told that we will receive a phone call from them if it came out positive and we don’t receive calls from them that mean he is negative for pertusis. They said that the test result will come out 2 to 3 days after the test. It’s only been 2 days after we went to the hospital and we didn’t receive any calls from them and hopefully they won’t call.

>He’s hooked on it

>After I taught my son on how to use the computer and the mouse and showed him the nickjr website where all kinds of educational games can be played, he started getting hooked on it. That’s how my son learned the alphabets, numbers, and songs. That’s how he learned on how to stay focused on something too. I realize though that it’s not good for him to stay on the computer too long for it’s not good for him in some ways. What I do is that I let him play after he takes nap for about an hour or two. Moderation is needed so he will learn the value of time. It’s ok to let him play online for as long as he’ll comply with the given allotted time. I always make sure that he plays with his toys along with his creative imagination.

>she’s walking

>I took this photo using my DRIOD phone this morning. I’m just to write a quick update about my daughter’s development. She just turned a year old and she’s walking now like any other child of her age. She says some words like “babay” with matching wave of her hand. She loves outdoors. She gets excited when she knows that we’re going outside our house. I think she’s a little hyper than her big brother. My children are totally different because my son is more of a quiet, sweet, compassionate and my daughter is the other way around. My daughter has a little attitude. I hope she wont take that attitude as she grows up.
