Loaded with healthy stuff

I don’t remember when was the last time we loaded our refrigerator with lots of fruits and vegetables in it, well particularly fruits because we are lazy fruit eaters. Whenever we buy fruits before it ended up in the trash because it rots because we even realize that we have it in our fridge. It has been a week since we started our smoothie diets/nutrition and we’re doing pretty well with our fruits and salads. We ran out of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries so we went to the grocery store earlier today to buy a box of each kind. Now our fridge is full of fruits, many kinds of it and they won’t be wasted anymore because I make smoothies each morning as our breakfast alternatives. I even stopped drinking coffee because once I drink my smoothies I get stuffed in. It’s just incredible how much fruits we wasted before and look at us now; we load our fridge with healthy stuff.

Busy with my house chores

I slept so late last night. I was doing my laundry at the same time sweeping the kitchen and bathroom floor with some anti-bacterial solution. I believe it was already pass midnight when I realize the time. I was also updating my blogs while waiting for my loads to get dry. My daughter was also up at the time and nagging me to sleep until she couldn’t fight with it anymore and went to our bed and sleep. While I was doing my house chores for some reason I kept on thinking about commercial janitorial supplies I don’t know why but I guess that was because I was cleaning our home and was trying to make our home look tidy before I go to bed. The thought of janitorial supplies made me think of the cleaning materials they have to offer to their clients. I want to see if they have some affordable cleaning solution though I want to purchase some but not for commercial use. Anyway, it got me thinking about the Company where my husband works for; I wonder where they buy their janitorial supplies for work. Perhaps online or they may have contracted some local janitorial supply store for the cleaning materials that their work needs.

Homemade air freshener

Since I love fish (dried and fresh) our home stinks after I cook it. Sometimes I ran out of air freshener and the odor would just linger on and husband can smell it. It bother’s him sometimes but it bothers me the most especially when I come inside, the odor welcomes us by the door and its very unpleasant. Its embarrassing if we have unexpected visitors and that’s what they’re going to smell when they first thing opens the door. As I was blog hopping I came across with this blog who was sharing some great ideas about homemade air freshener. Very simple! Peel the oranges skin and boil it then add some powder cinnamon or dried rosemary leaves boil it with cinnamon stick. The steam with lemon scents will kill the fishy odor and it worked great. I love it because it’s natural and there’s no chemicals sprayed everywhere just to get rid of the smell and I saved too.

Senior Communities

I’ve seen how Senior Communities are living. They live in a very simple yet happy life. They don’t have to worry about material things because they don’t need them anymore. They have families visited them whenever they want to. When my mother-in-law was still alive we used to visit her in her senior’s apartment. They seemed to have a better place compared to our apartment, it’s very quiet and peaceful. Their place is secured and no one can just go inside their community. If you don’t have identification card, you can’t get through unless your loved one will open the door for you. In my mother-in-law’s apartment, they have secret code to be able to open the gate. We normally give her a phone call just to let her know we’re coming to visit her. Her place is definitely safe place for seniors and I think they have their own activities, recreations and entertainments too to keep them occupied with their everyday lives. When my husband and I grows older and when our kids will have their own family we will surely live in a community like that. We all want to grow old in a comfy life and happy environment right?

Live life to the fullest

I have some online friends who live in North Carolina and whenever they share some photos about their home place it makes me think of visiting NC because they have wonderful places that not many of us knew. I used to think that North Carolina is a boring place but I was totally wrong about it. I miss judged the place and I feel bad about it. They have many wonderful things and places to offer actually and one of this is the Cullasaja Country Club. This place looks like a paradise to me, they offer Highlands NC golf course and this place is also surrounded with less than 300 gorgeous homes. They even offer club activities such as tennis, swimming, boating and not only that, they also have a first class fitness and wellness facility, which is amazing because I am into fitness workout these days. The tranquility of this place is what I am really looking forward to. I can surely retire and enjoy a peaceful life with this kind of environment. This place is far from a busy life unlike living in the City where noise and hectic life is the norm. Sometimes I get tired of living in a City and that’s when my husband takes us away from the real world and travels in the local mountains or go for road trips. We have to connect with the nature and just forget about the stressful work even for a day can be refreshing. So anyway, I hope we can visit North Carolina someday and explore the beauty that they have to offer and who knows we will decide to retire and live in one of the homes at Cullasaja Country Club. It’s always nice to raise a family in safe surroundings that they can enjoy life growing up with nature.

Heating and Air Conditioning are important…

When I was still in the Philippines I never really thought that heating and air conditioning is a very important thing here in the United States until got here and learned about it through my experienced. Although I live in a place where the weather is considered to be the most beautiful weather all year long, I still learned that there are states out there that requires to have heating and air-conditioning system installed in their homes otherwise they will suffer from cold and heat without it. Other’s actually died because of the severe weather and they have nothing to protect them from it. I have some online friends who live somewhere in Arizona and some of them relied on the heating and air conditioning phoenix services to inspect their home and check whether their heater and air conditioner are working good or not. A friend of mine online posted on her wall saying that her home was getting cold and I believe their temperature at the time was below 20 degree Fahrenheit and she had two kids to protect to from getting cold. She later found out that her heating system is running out of oil. Good thing they were able to fix it sooner or else they will be suffering from cold.

A housing investment

The best thing about having our own home is that we have the freedom to buy whatever furniture you want at home without having to consider that there will be possibility of moving out again. I am very lucky that my husband has provided me and my children a beautiful home where we can fill with our love and laughter. For those who are still renting a place, I guess it is high time for them to cashiers nc real estate so they can start selecting a house unit that they can start saving for in the coming days.

I have always believed that there is no place like home. I had been hearing about Fairy Hobmother on the blogosphere world for several months already. Majority of my a blogger friends had worked with him already and I can feel the excitement they have because they’ve expressed it through their blogs. They even wrote something about this Fairy and it even made me so thrilled about him. I prayed that he’ll come and find me too because I really want him to shower the kind of blessings that my other bloggers had from him. My friends were telling me that Fairy Hobmother made their wishes come true and I am so happy to see them having big grin on their faces while narrating the story about him.
