Our kids never really have their own pet. We used to have a fish in a tank but after we had problem about water leaking we gave it away. Yesterday, while we were strolling in the mall, we saw these really cute hermit crabs with their artistic shells painted with all kinds of icons and cartoon characters on it. They were so enticing and I thought they are so cute. I bought two of them for my children. They’ve been wanted to have a dog or a cat and as much as we (husband and I) want to have it too, we just can’t because we are not allowed to have these kinds of animal in our apartment we had to say NO. They seemed to understand. So anyway, son picked the superman shell while I picked on behalf of my daughter. I got her a smiley face shell. At least they have something to look at when they get bored playing with their toys.
We were told these hermit crabs changes their shells 2 to 3 years, so we shouldn’t worry about it. Hopefully they’ll live that long though.
Wow haven’t seen one like this. I am sure my girls will be interested but also wary of touching it hehehe. Aren’t they difficult to take care?

Pastilan dili jud mi pwede ug ingon ani sa balay kay dili lung-an sa akoang anak hangtod mga chugi.. hahaha… gimhan nya panghulbuton ang hermit crabs. hahaha… So cute!
$60 akong nabayad apil na sa food good for 3 months, case, kahoy sa sulud pra taguan nila ug ang duha ka hermit crabs. na gipamiyungan nlng gyud nko mami dhemz. la man gud pets akong mga anakis gud hehehehe.

That is a really great idea, pets are too much! they seem having so much fun with the crabs..less maintenance too.

Pets always make our kids day great! Ang Triz kay sad kaayo kay nangamatay iyang pet fishes last week. Wa pa mi nagpalit usab. In a few more days na inig naa na ang Lolo ug Lola aron naa silay makalingawan.
