Anyway, today will be my last day of hosting the 366 BPC and it was a pleasure meeting new bloggers. I would like to say thank you to all those who participated this meme and shared some photos for us to see. See you around friends, it was nice to meet you all!
Today was our son’s first day of school. At first it was hard for him to explain that he needs to go to school because he still wants to sleep. He kept on saying “I don’t want to go to school, I just want to sleep”. But then everything changed after he saw his former friends and classmates. Unfortunately, his best friend goes to a different classroom. They’re no longer classmates but schoolmates instead. It was sad but they had to move on. My son is in first grade now and we are so excited for him to meet new friends and new teacher. He came home today bragging about how much he loves his school and that he had fun. Hehehhehe! I’m glad he gets his excitement once again.
We went to seafood city a few days ago; I bought a ready mix and chopped vegetable for some recipes that I planned on cooking. I bought mixed vegetables for Ginataang Kalabasa, Chopsuey and Sinigang. That morning, I told my husband I am going to fix dinner and make the… it took me awhile to say it because I forgot the name of it. Anyhow, surprisingly, my husband was thinking the same thing and he looked so thrilled at me. I was laughing at him. He was right, I was planning to cook Ginataang Kalabasa and he was so anxious about it. It’s one of his favorite Filipino soups.
He was at work and he kept on texting me about the soup. He was so excited and can’t wait to get home to eat. I also made some buffalo hot wings for him. Of course, I have to fry some bisugo for my viand. Son and I enjoyed our dried fish. I ate a lot!
We went to Jollibee yesterday to get some spaghetti. My kids love their Spaghetti; they always order it whenever we go there. We gave them the kid’s meal that way they can get some toys. Oh boy! They have all kinds of free toys from various restaurants we go to, they’re happy when they hear us ordered for a kid’s meal because they know they are getting something from it. Some of their toys I stuff them in the balikbayan box and give it to their little cousins in the Philippines. At lest someone can play with it.
I wrapped the rest of the lumpia mix yesterday. The manager of our apartment loves our lumpia and he phoned me the other day asking if I have some lumpia. There were no occasions or whatsoever, he just want to buy some for his daughter. He said that his daughter doesn’t want to eat anything when she comes home from school and serving her lumpia would ease his annoyance from her daughter not eating anything. His daughter is teenager and she’s in the stage where she’s so conscious about her physical appearance and would want to look sexy and skinny just like any other girls at school. So anyway, I came up with a 115 pc (with 3 pc extra) from the left over lumpia mix that I stored in the freezer for weeks now. It’s my extra income. I will charge him $40 dollars for this and I’ll save the $20 in my piggy bank.
When we talk about newly born babies, what goes on our mind are those cute baby stuffs that we will be preparing. But what if we will be having twin babies soon? Of course, the feeling of happiness will be there but on the other hand, a double preparation is a must. Baby toiletries, set of clothes for two and their strollers will be the things to be consider. I just had my lunch a few minutes ago (3:40pm San Diego time zone) and the above photo is what I ate. I had left over fried dried fish from last night and I have fresh made rice. I complimented it with some ripe mango, surely filled and satisfied my hungry tummy. I was to occupied blog hopping and I didn’t even realize the time, it went by so quickly. Whew!

You are probably wondering why I don’t have any photos uploaded in this article…. I guess today, I just want to express how I exactly feel right now. I feel so blank and empty after learning the various changes in the World of Blogging. Sometimes I wish I didn’t know about blogging or creating blogs for monetary purposes and just live in a simple way of life without exposing myself into a virtual world with virtual friends. It’s not that I’m not thankful of making friendship of YOU; it’s just that these days are getting tough when it comes to generating some dollars into our blogs. Oh well enough of the DRAMA. LOL! Got to move on and find some ways to get motivations on how to keep continuing what I have started.
