>It’s very inconvenient for us to go into a store where only cash is accepted. I don’t think a lot of people take cash with them when they go to the store but I rarely carry cash. I went to the store the other day to purchase something and as I am about to pay I was told by the associate that they don’t take cards (debit or credit). I was disappointed because I was in a hurry to get home but I ended up leaving the store empty-handed because I didn’t have any cash with me. I don’t understand why some local stores, businesses and restaurants don’t have any electronic payment system. I think they should get one to get more customers because it’s convenient and an easy way to pay for all your stuff.
My husband and I enjoyed the Electronic Payments machines because we got so used to it. Like I said, we never take cash with us and every time we make a purchase we use our debit or credit cards. It’s like swipe and go, no counting is involved. As far as I can remember, I rarely keep cash in my pocket as well as touching a dollar bill since I got here in the United States of America. That’s probably one of the reasons why I dislike the smell of any coins and paper money because I don’t keep them. It’s so dirty and unclean. Anyways, I hope the time will come when all of the stores here in our city will have electronic payment machines as another way to make purchases.
