>My husband and i went to see his mother in the hospital yesterday. She had an accident last month were in she fell down an escalator while shopping with her daughter. She broke her hip and the doctors told us she will be incapacitated for quite a long time. My husbands sister went ahead and filed the papers for a disability claim but for some reason it was denied. I can’t believe it! My mother needs financial help to pay her medical bills and regular bills and my husband and I don’t have the money to help her. My husband asked my sister-in-law if she filled out the form correctly and she said she did. Well, now I’m thinking what can we do? He called my sister-in-law and asked what our chances are in a disability appeal and she thinks it can’t hurt. Why not? Maybe it’s as simple as a tiny mistake in the application. We’ll have to wait and see. We’re hoping my mother-in-law will just get better as soon as possible
