There are a few ways that I've learned to increase traffic to my blogs that may help you as well! I remember when i was a newbie i was so excited to beautify my blog, i put a lot of widgets and blings/glitters because i thought that people would love it and that it will keep them from coming back to my blogs, but i was wrong. What happen was, i got tired of looking at it and some of my friends are telling me that my page takes forever to load, which is not really good. I realized that the more widgets i put on my blog the slower the web page would load, then the visitors don't like it at all. I remember i have read some article before that says "advertisers don't look at the appearance of your blog, what they really care is the content of the post" it make sense though.
Ok here's what i think will
help you drive traffic into your blog.
(it's based from my experience)- Make sure that your page will load fast so your viewers don't have to wait a long time.
- Make sure your post is unique and brief because the visitors gets bored when its long or like a novel.
- If you post about latest the news make sure you put the link as your source of information (you provide some basis to your post).
- Leave your links or URL to any forums that you may tend to visit, email links or URL to your family and friends.
- Visit your friends blog so they will visit you as well.
