My husband and I went to see our friend Bernie the other day. She was barbequing when we got there and we did some talking concerning about her life after her husband passed away a couple of weeks ago. She said that she’s still grieving but she said she’ll somehow get over it and move on. She told us that she’s financially at peace because her husband left her life insurance policy. Practically speaking she said that life is very important these days. She even asked my husband if he had life insurance and unfortunately we didn’t have anything for we didn’t think about getting it. We were told by Bernie to at least compare life insurance quotes at Wholesale Insurance companies and decide for ourselves in the future. We probably have to check on it one of these days.

No to EC Paid-Ads

I hereby announce to all Entrecard members to please don’t request for any paid-ads in my blogs because I don’t want to accept them otherwise you will be rejected without second thoughts. I find it so annoying to see a long paid-ads request in my EC dashboard and unfortunately I somehow accepted some those EC cards for paid-ads from a long time ago and still up to this time they’re still in my dashboard which i deeply regret for doing so. I don’t know how to get rid of them since we’re not allowed to decline those that has been accepted for paid-ads because it’s “against the rule”. So please don’t request paid-ads anymore guys, I will appreciate it a lot.

Be green save water and energy

California has a new law for water conservation and it started a few weeks ago where residents (including apartments) and commercial owners were given schedules to when will be the proper time and day for them to water their plants and grasses. Accordingly, failure to follow the new laws and you will be held accountable and will have to pay a hefty fine. Well, basically we are facing a tremendous drought at this time and we need to save water in every opportunity that we can because it’s for our own benefit. We might not feel the water scarcity at this time but if we continue to misuse the water resources then the next generation would definitely suffer from our conduct.

No mail today? Geezzz

Oh my goodness I forgot there’s no mail today because it’s holiday. I won’t be able to receive my most awaited iPod, it’s been a week already and I haven’t got it still. I hope it will get here early next week if not today so I can send the packages (balikbayan box) to my family back home. I will be getting 2 iPods in the mail, one for my family back home and the other one my husband will get to keep it for himself. He started downloading his favorite songs the other day and he cant wait to transfer them all to his iPod.

Her new found fame

If not then you might want to check out one of my interesting post about this 5 year old girl who has vision impairment since birth but then she is gifted with an amazing talent. Despite her disability she proved herself to everyone that she can be a normal child like everyone else. She played piano proficiently even though she hasn’t seen any of the musical instruments in her whole life and never had music lessons as well. Her talent led her to her new found fame and I think it is really a great inspiration and motivation for all of us because despite her disabilities she was able to show people that she can do whatever she wants.

Aren’t you inspired of her story and doesn't it motivate you to show the talents that you may have? Do wonderful things and get the best out of life. Hi friends how are your day today? Mine is pretty much busy and hectic because I have multiple chores going on right now and I haven’t done any of my assignments yet. I will try to do my tasks so it won’t expire. Today is holiday and there will be a lot of people hanging out with their friends and drinking, I can already smell bbq from one of our neighbors. It makes me drool now. Ok guys I gotta go now and continue my laundry so I can get it done before my husband comes home from work because we will be going somewhere.

Reading is so beneficial

When I don’t have anything to do, I usually read some spiritual publications like watchtower, awake and brochures. Yesterday while putting my son to sleep, I grabbed the awake magazine and the story of Sandra who suffered from skin disorder caught my attention. I was reading her article entitled “Can’t I Do Something About My Acne?” under the young people ask section. Sandra had a bad case of acne while she was still in high school and most of her classmates teased her and called her names like 'HEY, “crater face”!’ ‘Hey, “pizza face”!'. What unkind words and mean classmates she had. She said that she did all she could to fix the problem by applying some acne treatments but it just wouldn’t work, fortunately as she got older her acne went away by itself. Her situation reminds me of my former high school friend who went through the same embarrassment like she did and we always gave her comfort and advice that there is much more to life than personal appearances which would somehow make her feel good inside. It's really not good to judge the book by its cover.

It’s my first time to receive a star tasks from one of my best paid to blog sources. I was wondering what those stars meant and later I found out that it was like an award for working hard in their system and making them satisfied with my posts. This is what the stars really mean “The sheriff is looking out for you. You have been given an extra assignment.
